The Master of Maritime Management (MMM) opens further opportunities for marine professionals to advance in their careers. This program will provide you with a broad understanding of the structure and operation of organizations and the factors that influence business decisions in the context of maritime-based organizations.

You will focus on maritime management as you develop a knowledge and understanding of the nature of technical operations and the factors that have an impact on their success, as well as the ability to apply these concepts within your organization.

Program Structure

This online program will require successful completion of 30 credit hours of maritime and business management course work. These include four core cores with the option to complete six elective courses or four elective courses and a project in maritime management.

New students are accepted into the program, in fall, winter and spring semesters.

What You'll Need

Admission to the program is competitive. Professionals working in or intending to enter maritime management careers, who are considering this program, must meet the general admission requirements of Memorial University's School of Graduate Studies. Applicants must also have an undergraduate degree with appropriate maritime sector and business management course work. A minimum of two years related employment experience is also normally required.
